We’re back in the states and the trip couldn’t have gone better. For a day by day report check out my brother’s blog. Here’s the video I put together for the report @ our worship meeting this past Thursday. Enjoy!

Hola! Just a quick note to say we’re doing great. We’ve had 5 days of incredible work and ministry. We’ve spent the week painting the pastor’s new house. We’re now putting the finishing touches on it. Hopefully, they’ll be able to move in by the end of the week. On the ministry side, we’ve done 5 services and the response has been great! I preached on Sunday night about God’s love for us and there was an overwhelming response from those who wanted to experience it in a deeper way.
The big attraction are the skits that we’ve been performing for every service. They love to see us make fools of ourselves and we’re having a lot of fun doing it! One of the women in the church said, “You have no shame.” When it comes to sharing the hope of the gospel I’m glad we don’t.
We have one more service tonight. Please pray that we have the strength and energy to share the Jesus with passion and that the youth that we minister to will be able to respond. Thanks for lifting us up throughout this trip. We can feel your prayers!

Tomorrow morning I’ll be taking 6 American University students to Merida, Mexico. It’s spring break and instead of lounging on the beach or sleeping in late they’re going to share the love of Jesus by serving churches in the Yucatan.
It’s a double blessing for me (no that’s not a twin joke) that I also get to lead this team with my brother as the host missionary. We’re breaking him in as the first short-term team he is bringing in (no pressure!).
Pray for us. We need energy from the Holy Spirit. All of the students are finishing up a hard week of mid-terms and late night study sessions. We need grace to put the last minute touches on our ministry presentation. We need God’s protection in travel and His annointing as we minister.
And as you pray, remember the 2 other teams from AU Chi Alpha working in New Orleans and with AIDS patients right here in DC. Thanks for lifting us up. I can’t wait to see what God will do with the sacrifice of college students devoted to him.
