Our February newsletter is hot off the press. Well, actually, it hasn’t even hit the press yet. But with the wonders of technology, I can give you a sneak preview. Take a look, and if you’re on our mailing list, expect one in your box soon.

The Friday before the Super Bowl (can I use that?) I was a part of an unlikely gathering of college students. At midnight, we had about 40 students gathered to pray all night. That’s right, I said they were praying all night long!
Something we started 6 years ago @ AU has become a tradition and a highlight of the year. I get requests if I forget to put it on the schedule of events. Over the years it has become completely student led. This year about a dozen of them gave direction for the different segments of the night and it was powerful. We spent time in prayer for our fellowship, the campus, our country and the world. There was also plenty of time to worship and wait on God. During one segment of listening prayer we used a white board for students to write down thoughts or verses that came to mind. As we read through the list, it was amazing to see how God spoke so specifically to us.
I left event tired but excited. I’ve seen God do amazing things in and through our fellowship because of this event in the past. I’m looking for more of the same.
Last week I spoke @ a church in Southern Maryland. This is what I saw as I drove into the parking lot. It made my day. I guess it’s the closest I’ll get to having my name in lights. Is that my vainity showing through?
